Sunday, March 15
Allie Lehman of The Wonder Jam will share how to get photos of food that look as good as it tastes. Setting the scene, visual textures, plating, and photo technique are just a few of the topics to be covered. While Allie will discuss a variety of lighting situations, this class is focused on natural light setups.
Fit Food Columbus will be providing food from their new March menu to style, photograph, and taste. Students should bring a camera to practice and get feedback. DSLRs are preferred but smart phones and point and shoot cameras (with settings that can be manually controlled) will work well too.
This class is geared towards startups – bloggers and food businesses – trying to create a visual presence or foodies looking to up their game. By knowing when to take your own photos and when to hire someone, you can maximize your content.
