Take a class on entremets - those beautiful French multi-layered cakes – from one of the city’s French pastry authorities, The Refectory’s Pastry Chef Aaron Clouse. Chef will lead the class through the process of making these stunning desserts as well as demonstrate how to balance the visual appeal, textural contrast, and complimentary flavors that make them so special.
Students will leave with the recipes, instruction, pastries, and a new way of thinking about building a balanced plate. This class is appropriate for all baking levels although intermediate to experienced bakers may find it easier to replicate these pastries outside of the class.
Class includes a lunch that will please both vegetarians and omnivores.
