Behind the Scenes

Kickstarter reward: Laura Lee!

A chef often makes a name for herself for a specific cuisine. Local Chef Laura Lee serves up Korean street food on her truck, Ajumama, and has made quite a name for herself doing so. She has recently been titled Columbus Crave Tastemaker for 2014, her truck has been featured on the Cooking Channel’s Eat St. and has won the honors of Best Ethnic Food, Best Overall Truck, and Best Sandwich. There is a lot of attention on Chef Laura and her delicious Korean fare.

But sometimes a chef wants to stretch her legs. Experiment a little.

Where can chefs go to play when their experiments fall outside of their restaurant or truck’s norm?

The Commissary.

Chef Laura wants to play and experiment with the flavors and ingredients of a different cuisine and we want to let her. So for one night only, and for our Commissary supporters, she will prepare a four course meal of Korean + Mexican fare.

Korean Mex? Kor-exican? Never mind, you are going to want to have a seat at this table.

Supporters at the "Ajumama Makes Tacos" level will experience a one of a kind meal full of food, fun, and truly, fantastic flavors crafted by Chef Laura Lee. This night will be amazing!
